January Term Programs

January Term Programs

St Thomas students can choose from over 50 J-Term programs around the world each year. Whether the program is offered through St Thomas, or one of our approved providers (AIFS, IES, etc.), there should be an option for every degree plan and interest. Contact the Office of Study Abroad and review Short-Term Programs Policies and Procedures for more information.

Getting Started

Wondering about how to choose a program? What is the difference between a co-sponsored program and a UST/UMAIE sponsored program? How do you apply?

Start exploring the basics: How to Apply to a J-Term Program

1)     Attend a J-Term First Step Session for general information about all types of J-Term programs (does not fulfill advising session requirement for co-sponsored programs).
J-Term First Step Sessions - 12:15-1pm - MHC 212
Thursday, March 12
Tuesday, March 24
Wednesday, April 1
Thursday, April 9

2)     Search all J-Term courses here.
3)     Once you've identified a few programs of interest, go to the UST/UMAIE Programs page or the Co-Sponsored Programs page for course specific information.
